  1. Home of Eagle Lodge's Registered Maine Guide School

Our school has been successfully teaching residents and non-residents since 1997 to become Registered Maine Guides. We pride ourselves in having the best and most knowledgeable instructors as well as students that are eager to learn. Our success rate is in high 90's - but we cannot take all the credit. Our students have a love for Maine's woods and waters, that are second to none, and this in itself has made our success easy. 2. Maine Guide School
Taught by Maine's Most Experienced Instructors

Carroll and Lila Ware work to prepare students in this course to confidently enter the state's testing process for licensing Maine Guides. As Master Maine Guides, they understand the business of guiding and believe it is unlikely anyone can be "taught" to be a guide. That is something that comes from the heart. Two class formats are available. The first is a winter course running one night per week from 6 P.M. to 9 P.M. for 12 weeks. The other is a version running four days, Thursday through Sunday. Custom classes for small groups are available. References are always available. Contact us for more information on our Maine Guide School by visiting our website www.finsandfursadventures.com or by sending us an e-mail at (5/1/2009)
